Two vacancies have arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team for two Senior Finance Officers to lead on the financial support provided to the Council and senior management in respect of Housing Gateway Limited. The role reports to the Company Accountant for Housing Gateway Limited. Key deliverables and responsibilities of the role are: - Responsible for leading on specific tasks including the production of annual accounts to trial balance, provision of excellent supporting evidence for audit and liaison with auditors to ensure completion of timely, unqualified statutory accounts, VAT returns, bank reconciliation, ledger control, cash flow control, budget monitoring, financial planning and the provision of financial activity support to the companies. - Proactively develop commercial awareness, skills, understanding and abilities in delivering finance services to the companies. - Take ownership of specific finance processes to ensure all officers are appropriately trained and able to carry out these processes in a consistent and efficient manner. - Proactively coach and develop and quality assure the work of others on how best to deliver the service, standards and performance indicators, driving a step change in team productivity Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement. For this role there is an expectation to be in the office one day a week and periodically for key meetings and to be able to build strong working relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders.
