Following a departmental review, an exciting opportunity has become available to join our high-performing-team who manage our housing estates in Enfield.
To deliver high quality horticultural service for Enfield housing communities, by creating a hardworking cohesive team, undertaking a full range of tasks in accordance with service level requirements and Council aims to deliver high quality green space.
To create a team that works professionally and safely to deliver the objectives set out in the Service Level Agreement (SLA). To communicate effectively with Housing and Parks and Open Space staff on progress of the SLA.
To respond positively, professionally and sensitively to resident’s enquiries or complaints, providing advice and guidance to the customer on service delivery, reporting outcomes to the line manager and where queries or complaints remain unresolved to take responsibility for resolving or escalating to the line manager if needed.
We ask that you have the below skills
- Proven significant horticultural experience to a NVQ Level 3 level.
- Proven experience of supervising horticultural staff.
- Hold the relevant driving licence (and have the ability) to drive and operate up to 3.5 tonnes Council Vehicles.
- Experience of delivering high quality customer service.
- Experience of delivering and monitoring H&S documentations such as risk assessments/daily checks.
- Ability/aptitude to use IT software such as Microsoft and other App based systems to support monitoring of team outputs.
- Proven ability to walk significant distances and operate machinery.
- Proven ability to work in inclement weathers.
You will be expected to work 1 hour per week contractual overtime.
You will be expected to work 1 in six weekend rota.
You will be expected to work 1 bank holiday a year.
