About the Role
Join Mace Construct Limited as a Senior Health and Safety Manager within our Commercial sector business unit, delivering commercial offices, retro-fit, and major project schemes. You will provide strategic leadership for health, safety, and wellbeing (HSW) across projects, influencing and strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders while leading and developing your team. Your responsibilities will include assuring risk assessment, management, and mitigation in line with regulations and business standards; driving change through communication, engagement, and innovation; supporting the integration of the operational HSW job family into an efficient and cohesive team; monitoring and reporting performance; translating business strategy into local business plans; collaborating with operational directors to deliver cost-effective performance; supporting succession planning and career development; working with assurance functions for continuous improvement; engaging and influencing business and industry stakeholders; escalating non-compliance issues appropriately; managing a team to achieve KPIs and foster a continuous improvement culture; and providing performance management, technical guidance, and coaching.

Experience
Proven management experience within a large organisation, ideally in construction or project management, with a strong technical understanding of construction processes.

Qualifications
