About the Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in supporting patients in the comfort of their own homes. Taking a holistic approach, you will assess, plan and deliver personalised occupational therapy interventions that respond to patients’ physical, psychological, social and cognitive needs, promoting independence, enablement and quality of life wherever possible.
In this role, you will work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, building meaningful relationships with patients, families and carers, using advanced communication skills to support people through challenging and sensitive situations. Alongside colleagues and external partners, you will help patients remain in their preferred place of care wherever possible.
About the Organisation
Princess Alice Hospice supports people through life, death and grief across the London Boroughs of Kingston, Richmond and large parts of Surrey. This role is advertised on behalf of a partnership organisation and is not directly part of Surrey County Council.

Experience
Post-registration experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally including palliative care, community, hospice, oncology, rehabilitation, neurological or long-term condition settings.
Experience working independently in community settings and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
