We are seeking an ambitious, tenacious, and passionate Senior Partner to join our Strategic Finance team. This role partners closely with senior business leaders to support investment planning, resource allocation, performance insight, and strategic decision-making. It combines financial modelling, planning, and analysis to help leadership make better decisions on growth, cost, prioritisation, and long-term value creation.

You will have an outsized opportunity to shape Mews's direction, influencing investment strategies, long-term growth, and expansion into new countries or market segments. You will develop business cases for new products or partnerships and work with senior leaders on team performance and structure.

This role operates in an AI-enabled FP&A environment, blending strong finance judgement with modern tools. We are looking for someone curious about AI’s potential in finance—someone who identifies automation opportunities, raises the bar for team output, and builds workflows and tools that enhance efficiency.

Your mission includes partnering with senior leaders and the Director of Strategic Finance to set agendas and support strategic and financial decision-making through building and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses. You will prepare high-quality analysis and business cases, define and track KPIs, and support annual planning and forecasting cycles.

As a finance business partner, you will support budget owners in spend management, investment decisions, and prioritisation. You will evaluate cost and investment proposals, support approval processes, monitor budgets, and identify risks and opportunities using data and commercial judgement.

You will also help shape and develop our AI-enabled FP&A team by improving processes, reporting, and planning tools, embedding automation and decision-support practices into day-to-day finance operations.

Experience
- 4–6 years in FP&A or strategic finance with strong modelling skills and commercial acumen
- Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and business performance analysis
- Business partnering experience including budget monitoring, cost management, and supporting investment decisions
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; exposure to SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar is beneficial
- Ability to assess and challenge business cases with clear financial return logic and funding analysis
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is welcome but not required

About you
- Genuine curiosity and fluency with AI, with a drive to automate and build AI agents and workflows
- Comfortable designing and owning AI-enabled multi-step automated workflows
- Strong drive to automate low-value work with a track record or clear appetite for doing so in finance
- Some exposure to computer science, software development, or data engineering is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with modern finance tooling and MCP-enabled workflows is advantageous
- Clear and credible communicator who influences through insight and is comfortable working in ambiguity
- Able to translate complex financial and operational information into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
- Comfortable building from scratch and improving processes in a scaling business environment

Qualifications
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in finance or related fields
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus but not mandatory
