About the Role
Joining Sainsbury's as a Senior Product Manager in the Retail & Digital division means becoming part of a forward-thinking organisation that values innovation and embraces the power of data to drive impactful solutions. With access to one of the most exciting data sets in the country, you'll have the opportunity to lead transformative projects, collaborate with talented teams, and see your work directly impact millions of customers across the UK. In an inclusive and agile environment, you'll have the freedom to experiment, solve complex challenges, and drive real-world change while being supported by a committed leadership team and a vibrant community of product management professionals.
As the Senior Product Manager for Retail & Digital at Sainsbury's, you will take ownership of the Retail & Digital Product area, building the roadmap and grooming the backlog to define the "what" and the "why" of the products. Working closely with a delivery squad, you will collaborate to ensure successful delivery, address blockers, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders. Your role will involve building relationships with various teams and professionals within the organisation to deliver the roadmap and adopt and improve upon the product methodology.
With a focus on delivering value for the Argos Retail & Digital divisions, you will champion good data standards, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, and product strategy to drive impactful and meaningful outcomes.

- Hands-on experience working within agile delivery teams, evidenced by close collaboration with analysts, engineers, or data scientists through discovery, build, and release phases
- Proven experience influencing and aligning multiple stakeholders, shown through ownership of prioritisation decisions, trade-offs, and communication of product direction to senior or non-technical audiences
- Clear experience managing the full product lifecycle, including prioritisation, dependency management, and accountability for delivery against agreed objectives or metrics
About you
You bring a strong understanding of data and analytics, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions in agile environments. Comfortable leading across product, engineering and delivery, bringing cross-functional teams together to create end-to-end customer experiences that align to business goals and deliver measurable outcomes. Blending modern engineering practices with a strategic product mindset, you know how to move from insight to action.
Building relationships comes naturally, alongside the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex ideas in a clear, grounded way. You’ll play a key role in shaping a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation within the Argos Data & Analytics team, while maintaining high standards around data governance, quality and ethical practice.
