About the Role
As a Senior Product & Marketing Analyst at Much Better Adventures, you will report directly to the Head of Data & Analytics and become the go-to expert for the business's most challenging questions. You will analyze which marketing channels truly drive bookings after accounting for untracked factors, understand customer retention drivers, and evaluate the real impact of experiments. Your focus will be on product and marketing analytics, working in a fast-moving, trust-based remote team. We value accuracy over speed, and you will be the person who ensures data integrity, challenging assumptions when the data does not support popular narratives. Your role will involve owning end-to-end analysis, building and shipping data models, managing experiment analysis, and creating actionable reporting that empowers teams across the business. You will also help define key business metrics and integrate AI tools into your workflow to enhance productivity and insight generation.

Requirements

Experience
- Proven background in product and/or marketing analytics within fast-growing startups or scale-ups.
- Strong expertise in paid and organic marketing channels, attribution modeling, customer acquisition cost (CAC), marketing efficiency ratio (MER), and a critical approach to platform-reported data.
- Hands-on experience with product and web analytics tools such as GA4, PostHog, or Amplitude.
- Skilled in conversion rate optimization (CRO) analysis, including experiment sizing, honest result interpretation, and funnel drop-off analysis using platforms like Eppo, VWO, or Optimizely.
- Proficient in SQL with daily use against complex data warehouses.
- Experience working with event-level clickstream data and customer data platforms (CDPs) such as Segment.
- Comfortable building reporting and analysis in modern BI or notebook tools, preferably Hex, or similar tools like Mode, Deepnote, Observable, Looker, or Tableau.
- Experience with dbt or strong motivation to learn quickly.

About You
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, able to explain complex findings clearly and build trust across teams.
- Strong commercial instinct to translate business questions into measurable data points and critically evaluate results.
- Demonstrated impact through analysis that influenced business decisions.
- Excellent multitasking and project management skills, capable of managing multiple dashboards, models, and analyses simultaneously.
- Deep comfort and experience working with AI tools integrated into data workflows, including chaining AI assistants with data systems.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business environment and prefers shaping a young function over inheriting a fixed one.
- Self-motivated, organized, and effective working independently in a remote team setting.

Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with product and marketing analytics tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI tools and modern data stack components.
- Bonus points for Python skills and experience in e-commerce, travel, marketplace, or subscription business models.
