About the Role
As a Senior Production Technician within Chemotherapy Services, you will participate in and supervise all technical aspects of aseptic preparation, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Assurance (QA) systems. You will act as a role model to staff throughout the department, providing guidance and support. Key responsibilities include acting as the responsible supervisor and critical checker within production areas, preparing and dispensing raw materials and other products when required, and assisting with recruitment and selection of staff for the Trust’s Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit and the wider pharmacy team. You will also undertake any other reasonable duties as specified by the Principal Technician and senior team, contributing to the smooth and safe operation of the department.

Experience
Proven experience in aseptic preparation and production within a regulated environment is essential. Experience in supervising technical teams and working under GMP and QA systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications
