About the Role
As a Senior Production Technician within Chemotherapy Services, you will participate in and supervise all technical aspects of aseptic preparation, ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest quality standards in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Assurance (QA) systems. You will act as a role model to staff across the department, supporting and guiding them to maintain excellence in production. Key responsibilities include acting as the responsible supervisor and critical checker within production areas, undertaking preparation and dispensing of raw materials and other products when required. Additionally, you will assist in the recruitment and selection of staff for the Trust's Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit and contribute to recruitment efforts across the pharmacy as a whole. You will also undertake any other reasonable duties as specified by the Principal Technician and senior team members.

Experience
Proven experience in aseptic preparation and production within a regulated environment is essential. Experience in supervising technical teams and working under GMP and QA systems is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in pharmacy, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related discipline are preferred. Formal training or certification in aseptic techniques and GMP compliance is advantageous.
