About the Role
Centrepoint is seeking a Senior Quantitative Policy and Research Officer to lead and deliver high-quality quantitative research and policy analysis. This role involves designing and conducting robust data analysis to inform Centrepoint’s strategic objectives and influence policy development. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide evidence-based insights that support the organisation’s mission to end youth homelessness. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Experience
Proven experience in quantitative research and policy analysis, preferably within the social policy or homelessness sector. Strong skills in statistical software and data management. Experience in designing and delivering research projects that influence policy and practice.
About you
Analytical and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical audiences. Passionate about social justice and making a positive impact on youth homelessness.
Qualifications
A degree in a relevant discipline such as economics, social sciences, statistics, or a related field. Advanced qualifications or training in quantitative research methods or data analysis are desirable.
