About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Crawley. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the technical coordination of multiple large-scale residential and commercial developments, ensuring all technical, architectural, and design elements are executed to the highest standards. You will act as the key technical liaison between internal teams, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical coordination of projects from inception to completion, ensuring designs are accurately implemented, compliant with regulations, and delivered within budget and schedule.
- Liaise with design and engineering teams to integrate all technical aspects into the overall development plan.
- Provide technical guidance and support to Project Managers, Site Managers, and Surveyors to resolve design-related issues during construction.
- Oversee production of detailed technical documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and schedules aligned with client requirements.
- Manage design development process with architects, engineers, and consultants, ensuring design changes are integrated and communicated.
- Review and ensure design packages comply with building regulations, health and safety standards, and relevant legislation.
- Advise on feasibility of design proposals and value engineering opportunities to deliver efficient, quality projects.
- Act as key technical contact for internal and external stakeholders including clients, contractors, consultants, and statutory bodies.
- Attend project meetings to provide technical updates, resolve issues, and ensure clear communication.
- Oversee technical project delivery to meet approved designs, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards.
- Review and approve technical drawings and specifications before issue to construction teams.
- Maintain high standards of technical quality and workmanship through site reviews and quality checks.
- Implement and uphold ISO quality management processes and company procedures.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to meet schedules and quality targets.

Experience
- HND/Degree level qualification or equivalent in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in technical coordination or related roles, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, design, and technical standards.
- Proven ability to manage and coordinate design teams, subcontractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with technical drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools.
