About the Role
As a Service Charge Specialist at Peabody, you will use your expertise in managing service charges to support residents by ensuring their charges are accurate, transparent, and reflective of the services provided. Your day-to-day activities will vary, including responding to resident enquiries via phone or email, analysing costs to verify service charge bills, and collaborating with neighbourhood, property services, and estate services teams to ensure charges align with delivered services. You will build strong relationships, solve problems, and provide residents with clear and relevant information throughout your work.

Experience
- Proven experience working with and managing service charges
- Experience managing reconciliation and budgeting processes
- Knowledge of accounting processes related to service charges, including relevant legislation and best practice

- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build positive relationships

Qualifications
- A professional qualification such as CIH or IRPM is desirable but not essential
