About the Role
We are seeking qualified social workers to join our Young People’s Service, supporting young people aged 16-18 who are Children Looked After. This role requires practitioners with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care and how to overcome these barriers. You will work to ensure consistent, tailored care plans that support young people’s transition to independence and adulthood. The role involves collaboration with multi-agency partners including health, adult services, housing, and education to manage risk and promote safety for our most vulnerable children. You will undertake direct work to capture and understand the voices of young people and act as a Corporate Parent, ensuring statutory guidelines and legislation are met. Experience with systemic practice and working with diverse backgrounds is highly valued. The role offers hybrid working and includes a retention payment of £1,500.
Experience
Experience working with children and young people, particularly those who are Children Looked After, is essential. Proven ability to work with multi-agency partners and manage risk effectively. Experience in direct work to evidence and understand young people's voices. Familiarity with statutory guidelines, legislation, and the role of Corporate Parent. Experience of systemic practice and working with diverse communities is desirable.

Qualifications
Qualified Social Worker status is required. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. The successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check if required by the role.
