About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to help develop and shape a new model of care that breaks down current barriers to care, is non-restrictive, co-produced, culturally sensitive and accessible. The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering open access to a range of psycho-social-medical interventions at every stage of the wellness journey. This includes short-term hospitality stays for those in crisis and community-based offers embedded in the neighbourhood.
We work in partnership with Look Ahead Housing Association, the Tower Hamlets VCSE Alliance, and experts by experience in a new fully integrated community mental health centre based in Bethnal Green serving PCN1.
As one of six pilot sites in England, we aim to reshape care and return to the values that originally inspired healthcare professionals.
We are seeking a Social Worker/AMHP who is keen to be part of this new way of working. Integral to the role and ethos of the service is a commitment to co-productivity and the eradication of a “them-and-us” culture, removing barriers that hinder good care, and ensuring compassion, empathy and relationship building are the primary focus.
If you are interested in joining a dynamic team, are action-oriented, professionally curious, comfortable with ambiguity, and want to make a real difference, this role is for you.
Experience
Not explicitly specified, but a commitment to co-productivity and compassionate care is essential.
