About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Stage Rigging Technician to join the National Theatre's Stage team. Based within the Stage department, you will support stage work and lifting operations for theatre performances, productions, rehearsals, and other events across all three venues and additional NT spaces. You will share responsibility for the installation of temporary rigging for productions and collaborate with other technicians on rigging-related activities, while engaging fully in the broad scope of Stage department responsibilities. This role requires expertise in rigging and a commitment to Health & Safety standards to ensure safe and effective stage operations.

Experience
Professional, large-scale theatre or live event experience in a flying/rigging capacity.
About you
Comfortable working at height using access and fall protection equipment.
Effective written, verbal and software-based communication skills.
Committed to Health & Safety practices and able to work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
Industry-recognised training and certification in rigging, stagecraft, and Health & Safety including working knowledge of LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
