About the Role
Outward has been providing high-quality support and care services to vulnerable people across London for 50 years, focusing on person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs. We are proud to be an accredited Living Wage Employer, committed to paying the Real Living Wage to our frontline Support Workers.

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our supported living service in Hackney, supporting autistic young adults and people with learning disabilities to transition into adulthood and live independently in their own flats. This hands-on role involves supporting people with everyday activities such as developing life skills, accessing the community, personal care and wellbeing.

No previous professional care experience is required as full training, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), will be provided. A current driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality care in line with support plans and risk assessments, enabling independence, supporting daily living tasks, acting as a keyworker, encouraging participation in service planning and recruitment, and upholding dignity, respect and choice.

You will also be responsible for following financial procedures, supporting people to manage their finances safely, maintaining accurate records, and working flexibly across multiple services if required. Promoting a PBS approach, working collaboratively with colleagues and families, safeguarding, and attending essential training are integral to this role.

This role requires resilience, emotional maturity and a values-driven approach aligned with Outward’s mission to engage, enable and empower the people we support.
