About the Role
We are seeking a Supported Employment Partnership Co-ordinator to join Lambeth Council’s Skills and Employment team on an 18-month secondment/fixed term contract. This pivotal role focuses on developing and expanding pathways into supported employment for young people and adults with SEND and other complex needs. You will act as a key link between Skills and Employment and colleagues across Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, SEND, Leaving Care and Youth Offending Services, ensuring a joined-up, borough-wide offer for residents.
You will also play a central role in delivering Connect to Work, a new five-year Department for Work and Pensions funded programme providing tailored support to Lambeth residents.
Key responsibilities include building strong referral pathways with Adult Social Care teams, schools, colleges and local providers; supporting residents with additional needs to access and sustain paid employment through tailored one-to-one advice; championing and growing Supported Internships including Project SEARCH; leading the Supported Employment Partnership to create new opportunities and share best practice; engaging employers to promote inclusive recruitment; monitoring progress against the Supported Employment Quality Assurance Framework (SEQF); and developing resources, training and guidance to strengthen employment pathways for residents with SEND and complex needs.

Experience
- Proven experience in Supported Employment delivery, including knowledge of IPS and/or SEQF models.
- Skilled at building and sustaining effective partnerships across social care, education, health, employment services, and employers.
- Strong data management skills with the ability to produce accurate reports and track progress towards outcomes.
- Knowledgeable about disability, mental health, safeguarding, confidentiality and related employment legislation.
