About the Role
We are seeking a Supported Employment Partnership Co-ordinator to join Lambeth Council’s Skills and Employment team on an 18-month secondment/fixed term contract. This pivotal role focuses on developing and expanding pathways into supported employment for young people and adults with SEND and other complex needs. You will act as a key link between Skills and Employment and colleagues across Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, SEND, Leaving Care and Youth Offending Services, ensuring a joined-up, borough-wide offer for residents.

You will also play a central role in delivering Connect to Work, a new five-year Department for Work and Pensions funded programme providing tailored support to Lambeth residents.

Key responsibilities include building strong referral pathways with Adult Social Care teams, schools, colleges and local providers; supporting residents with additional needs to access and sustain paid employment through tailored one-to-one advice; championing and growing Supported Internships including Project SEARCH; leading the Supported Employment Partnership to create new opportunities and share best practice; engaging employers to promote inclusive recruitment; monitoring progress against the Supported Employment Quality Assurance Framework (SEQF); and developing resources, training and guidance to strengthen employment pathways for residents with SEND and complex needs.

Lambeth Council is committed to equity, inclusion and delivering excellence through its One Lambeth Programme and values of Equity, Ambition, Kindness, and Accountability. Join us to contribute to a fairer, safer, and more inclusive borough.
