Central London (Royal Courts of Justice) or 5 Wellington Place, Leeds, with occasional travel to other Judicial College sites including Loughborough and Glasgow.

About the Role
The Judicial College is seeking an Executive Officer to lead the Planning and Operational Support Team (POpS), managing a team of event organisers who provide administrative support for magistrate training across various delivery methods including digital, face-to-face, and blended learning. This role is based either in London or Leeds and involves close collaboration with other team leaders and managers to ensure the smooth running of the judicial training programme. You will be responsible for managing your team’s performance, attendance, and conduct, as well as overseeing the organisation of training events, including venue bookings, delegate communications, and maintaining accurate attendance records to assist with budget management. You will also support continuous improvement projects by helping design, test, and embed new administrative procedures. Additionally, you will manage the College’s online training event area, ensuring course pages, bookings, and materials are well maintained. Attendance at training events to provide support and minute-taking at meetings will also be required. This is a high-profile role within a unique branch of the Civil Service dedicated to supporting judicial independence and maintaining confidence in the rule of law.
