About the Role
Newly qualified planners and those looking to expand on their existing experience can build on an early career in planning within a busy planning office. This role requires a talented, dynamic, and commercially aware Planner who will act as the key link between JCDecaux Development Teams and Planning Departments within Local Authorities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include giving pre-application planning advice, preparing planning documentation, managing the planning application process, handling planning appeals and offering representation when required, and communicating with all stakeholders involved in the planning process. Responsibilities may also include managing a variety of planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries; producing planning application reports; delivering excellent customer service; updating planning IT systems; supporting service improvement projects; keeping up to date with planning regulations, policy, and legislation; prioritising workload flexibly; and maintaining continual professional development in line with professional institute requirements.
