About the Role
Start your teacher training journey with Lift Schools and train to teach Computing through our school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme. Delivered in partnership with Ark Teacher Training, this salaried route allows you to gain practical classroom experience while working towards your Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). You will spend the majority of your time teaching in the classroom, supported by experienced teachers and mentors, applying pedagogical theory and building your confidence throughout the school year.

Experience
No prior teaching experience required. Enthusiasm for education and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with a 2:2 classification or above (or equivalent) by the start of the programme. A degree in Computing or a related field is preferred.
- Alternatively, a strong A-Level in Computing (Grade C or above) will be considered.
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent).
