About the Role
As a Unit Manager at HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do. You will take responsibility for a specific part of the home, delivering the highest standard of care across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will lead with compassion and respect, always prioritising resident dignity and well-being. This role involves managing the unit and stepping in to run the entire home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager. Your duties will include overseeing daily care activities, supporting residents with mobility or health needs, administering medication, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

Experience
Proven leadership skills within a care home setting for vulnerable adults are essential.

You are considerate, kind, and committed to safeguarding, able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and respond appropriately. You will attend safeguarding training and other relevant development opportunities to maintain high standards of care and safety.
