About the Role
Please note this is up to an 18-month Fixed Term opportunity subject to start date. As a Value and Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role within the Commercial Proposition team by providing strategic insights, recommendations, and decision-making support for pricing actions within our strategic frameworks. Your responsibilities include supporting the development of pricing capabilities, influencing change across the organisation, and serving as a centre of knowledge on pricing analytics and insights. You will collaborate with various teams to drive commercial outcomes, analyse market insights, and provide specialised pricing support to enhance pricing strategies across different channels. Your role focuses on leveraging data and trends to solve complex commercial problems, make tangible recommendations, and support commercial planning processes to implement strategic changes effectively.

Requirements

Experience
Proven analytical capability with the ability to manipulate large and diverse data sources and extract meaningful insights to drive commercial outcomes. High proficiency in Excel and analytical tools for effective data manipulation, pricing analysis, and development of insight-led recommendations. Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to influence change across the organisation and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

About you
You are a highly analytical thinker with a deep understanding of the retail market and a passion for leveraging data insights to drive commercial outcomes. You demonstrate strategic and hypothesis-led thinking, supporting the development of pricing strategies and contributing to complex commercial problem-solving. Your expertise in data manipulation and stakeholder management enables you to optimise channel pricing aligned with the company’s strategic framework and drive business success.
