About the Service and Team
Meals on Wheels is an award-winning service, recognised for its vital role during the COVID-19 pandemic. The team provides hot meals and packed teas to vulnerable individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. Our kitchen holds a 5-star food hygiene rating, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.

About the Role
The primary responsibility is to deliver hot meals and packed teas to vulnerable residents eligible for the Meals on Wheels service. You will also carry out welfare checks during deliveries and report any concerns or safeguarding issues to the team for follow-up. This role is essential in supporting the independence and wellbeing of vulnerable community members.
