About the Role
Greener Ealing Ltd (GEL) provides high-quality Waste Collection, Street Cleansing, Grounds Maintenance, Parking services and other environmental services for the London Borough of Ealing, its residents and other service users. Due to our continued success, a great opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Technician. Duties include diagnosing and resolving technical issues with vehicles, plant and machinery; preparing a range of vehicles to MOT standard, ranging from 3.5t to 26t HGV/RCV including necessary repairs and maintenance; maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance; and ensuring the workshop is kept to a high standard.

Experience
Experience of working in a workshop setting. Understanding of vehicle system diagrams and ability to write technical reports.

About you
Good communication skills (verbal and written). Reliable and motivated to maintain high standards in workshop operations.

Qualifications
Minimum NVQ level 4 or City and Guilds level 3, or equivalent.
Qualification as a MOT tester – up to and including Class 2/Category C.
Current full UK Driving licence or equivalent.
