As Youth Support Worker, you will support 16-17-year-olds, offering trauma-informed care to promote their safety, wellbeing, and independence. Your key duties include safeguarding, creating support plans, managing challenging behaviour, maintaining professional boundaries, and promoting engagement. You’ll also ensure health and safety protocols are followed and collaborate with external agencies.
You’ll have experience working with vulnerable young people, understand trauma-informed care and safeguarding, and can manage behaviour challenges. Strong communication skills, a commitment to diversity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
Shifts: Day, evening, night (sleeping in), and weekend shifts on a rota basis.

Experienced in working with teenagers aged 16-17 or have personal experience with the challenges they face.
Skilled in managing challenging behaviour.
Knowledgeable or experienced in safeguarding and trauma-informed principles.
