Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 18:00. The department is closed at weekends and on public holidays.

About the Role
The Resuscitation Service is seeking an Administrator to support the team of Resuscitation Practitioners across multiple sites in delivering nationally recognised and local training courses. This role involves managing course planning, handling applications, coordinating instructor schedules including hotel bookings, and processing expenses. You will also assist with the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring a high-quality operational service to practitioners and clinicians. The role requires managing bookings, record keeping, travel and accommodation arrangements within agreed targets and budgets, as well as overseeing the Resuscitation Service office. You will provide operational support across the service, including minute taking for meetings, referral processing, procurement, and data analysis to support clinical leads. The role demands excellent organisational skills to manage administrative services aligned with clinicians’ timetables and to support equipment monitoring and financial obligations. You will lead specific projects and initiatives as delegated and support the Lead Resuscitation Practitioner in coordinating responses to information and monitoring requests. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential as you will liaise with multidisciplinary teams and handle sensitive telephone enquiries professionally.

Requirements

Qualifications
Educated to HNC/Equivalent Diploma or equivalent experience
GCSE Maths & English
Track record of significant continuous professional and management development

Experience
Proven contribution to meeting operational objectives
Experience delivering administrative and clerical services to health teams
Evidence of supporting change processes and service improvements
Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams
Experience positively influencing organisational culture
Robust IT skills including use of clinical systems such as Epic
Significant experience in staff supervision and management including recruitment, retention, appraisal, and first-line disciplinary processes
Knowledge of budget management
