The Digital Client Experience teams in Asset Management provide clients with innovative and customer-centered financial products to drive transformative changes. We combine the best qualities of a technology player with the strengths of a large bank. Our Digital teams comprise three main businesses, underpinned by engineering, product operations, security and risk management:
- Mosaic: an end-to-end open architecture technology platform and digital product providing trading, settlement, analytics, and reporting solutions to global liquidity clients.
- AM.gs.com: Goldman Sachs Asset Management, supervising more than $1.8 trillion in assets, with investment professionals worldwide.
- Advisor Portal: a key component of the SMA expansion program, providing an all-digital, best-in-class experience to Advisors including onboarding, application for new SMAs, account tracking, and access to advisor tools.

As a full stack developer, you will drive the design of critical components in the technology stack and oversee implementation of new features, focusing on code quality, automation, and testability. You will collaborate with a global cross-functional team to build customer-centric products, contribute to the product roadmap and engineering culture, design scalable systems using cloud and on-prem technologies, contribute to SDLC documentation, perform code and system design reviews, mentor junior talent, and communicate effectively with leadership, engineers, and business teams.

Experience
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot
- Design and implementation of low latency, high throughput, and fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with Agile operating models
- Energetic, self-directed, and self-motivated

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Java and any Rx* variants
- Experience with Kafka or similar messaging technologies
- Experience with microservice architecture and the Spring framework family
- Strong proficiency in distributed systems, low-latency services, NoSQL and relational databases
- Experience with AWS
- Hands-on experience with React and/or Angular
- Experience with external facing websites is a plus
- Experience working with clients/users is a plus
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
