The Private Credit team is a primary investment area within Goldman Sachs, providing investment services to capital providers such as pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, endowments, foundations, financial advisors, and individuals. The team operates globally with professionals based in the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. In Europe, the Private Credit team is a top-tier platform in the direct lending market, consistently involved in the largest transactions.

As an Analyst, you will work in small deal teams responsible for identifying, diligencing, structuring, executing, and monitoring corporate debt investments. You will be involved in a wide range of high-profile transactions across the capital structure and various industries, supporting leveraged buy-outs, take privates, add-on acquisitions, and recapitalizations, mostly for Private Equity-backed businesses. The role is deal-focused and dynamic, offering exposure to diverse businesses, industries, clients, investment structures, and products.

Requirements

Experience
1 to 2 years of experience in Investment Banking and Private Credit/Direct Lending.

- Strong quantitative, financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for investing, with a specific interest in credit and other structured products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and creative mindset with the ability to analyze a variety of industries and businesses
- Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact and build relationships with a wide variety of people

Qualifications
Relevant experience in investment banking or private credit is required. A demonstrated passion for credit investing and structured products is essential. Strong academic credentials and a commitment to professional growth are expected.
