About the Role
The Assessment Centre Manager will motivate and support a professional clinical operations team to achieve high performance and quality levels, compliant activity, and excellent customer service. This role involves effective performance and team management, working closely with Clinical Practice Leads, Clinical Auditors, and supporting the Head of Operations in the smooth delivery of services. Key responsibilities include managing Clinical Assessment Centre sessions, leading and developing quality staff, ensuring efficient delivery of functional assessments, managing individual performance, and applying continuous improvement methodologies to enhance service delivery.
Essential Criteria
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in a supervisory/management role.
- Working knowledge of resource management, with the ability to flexibly adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrable ability to handle multiple priorities while ensuring productivity and delivery of the highest quality.
- Able to effectively network and collaborate to build and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
- Experience and ability to manage performance and productivity while maintaining staff engagement.
Desirable Criteria
- Understanding the barriers faced by people with physical and mental health difficulties in relation to attendance and engagement with clinical assessments.
- Understanding of the HAAS purpose and approach.
- Willingness and motivation to undertake and apply Continuous Improvement methodology training to yellow/green belt level (Lean Six Sigma methodology).
