As an Associate, Governance & Oversight Specialist, you will assist key areas of our EMEA & LatAm Client Group Governance and Oversight, focusing on Customer Governance and Investor Protection, Distribution Oversight, and Business Engagement. Your responsibilities will include compiling consistent and insightful reporting for JHI fund and management Boards, internal committees, and Client Group senior management.

You will primarily focus on the UK, EMEA, and LatAm business, with opportunities to participate in corporate projects and gain exposure to senior management within the Client Group and across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a customer advocate and consumer regulation subject matter expert, focusing on investor protection regulation.
- Support embedding good consumer outcomes and fair treatment of customers across the Client Group and wider business.
- Provide administrative support for the UK Customer Interests Committee, including meeting scheduling, board packs, minuting, and consumer reporting.
- Manage UK regulated Board engagement for Consumer Duty and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), including quarterly and annual reporting.
- Represent the Client Group in other internal governance committees.
- Serve as a centre of excellence for consumer testing, research, and feedback.
- Support management governance and oversight of the Client Group, including administrative support for the UK EMEA Distribution Oversight Committee and other regulated Boards.
- Assist with distributor due diligence and feedback processes.
- Build cross-functional relationships within the Client Group to improve delivery and success.
- Engage in regulatory change and strategic corporate projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure positive interactions and understanding of the EMEA & LatAm Client Group.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience
Asset management industry understanding and experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter and to take initiative in improving process efficiencies. Experience or interest in leveraging AI and IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to enhance and streamline workflows is valued.
