About the Role
The Markets business within Lloyds Banking Group is expanding and we are seeking an Audit Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality audits in the Commercial Banking - Markets portfolio. You will be responsible for designing, operationally evaluating, and testing key controls while applying proficient knowledge of audit methodology and assigned risk areas. As a proactive team member with a growth mindset, you will contribute positively to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of audits, supporting the ongoing development and improvement of GA&CI through strategic, integrated audit focus, collaboration, and agile delivery methods.

Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to the Commercial Banking - Markets audit plan, performing control testing, identifying risks and testing outcomes, supporting senior colleagues with audit tasks, and building meaningful stakeholder relationships. You will conduct research incorporating multiple perspectives and external insights to analyze key themes and trends, suggest improvements to compliance processes, and actively role-model Group values and behaviours. Additionally, you will identify and drive personal development opportunities, foster a positive learning culture through coaching, and share timely, effective feedback to ensure successful delivery and a sustainable impact on the function.

Experience
- Good end-to-end understanding of Sales and Trading activities, particularly across Fixed Income products, including key risks and controls across front office, middle office, back office, risk, and product control
- Experience in a 2nd or 3rd line role within an Investment or Wholesale Banking institution
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape and key requirements

Qualifications
- Markets relevant professional qualification is desirable
- Knowledge of Debt Capital Markets (DCM) products, risks, and controls is advantageous
- Understanding of Trade, Electronic, and Voice Surveillance Frameworks is beneficial
- Experience with Data Analytics tools such as SQL or Python is a plus
