About the Role
As an Audit Analyst within the Data, Privacy and Responsible AI portfolio, you will focus on Data and AI capabilities, tooling, and practices at Lloyds Banking Group. You will support the delivery of high-quality audits by designing and operationally evaluating key controls, applying audit methodology, and addressing Data, Privacy, and Responsible AI risk areas.
This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-paced Data and AI environment in one of the UK's largest digital banks. You will contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of LBG's Data & AI strategy delivery, support continuous improvement of the Group Audit & Compliance function through strategic audit focus, collaboration, and agile methods.
Day-to-day responsibilities include contributing to the audit plan, delivering specified outcomes, supporting control testing, identifying potential challenges, building stakeholder relationships, conducting research to analyze key themes and external trends, suggesting compliance process improvements, role modeling Group values, and fostering a positive learning culture through coaching and feedback.
Experience
- Proven ability to lead and take ownership of delivery while championing colleagues' growth and development
- Experience delivering risk and control assurance activities that are timely, impactful, insightful, and valued by stakeholders
- Ability to understand and interpret Group and Business Unit strategy and connect audit delivery and business monitoring insights at a macro level
- Strong analytical skills to understand and communicate data effectively and use it to drive audit outcomes
- Effective prioritization skills to manage own work and that of others for timely, value-added delivery
- Technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Data Management including Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Products, Data Lineage, and Data Management tools (e.g. Collibra, Snowflake, Google's Dataplex)
- Data Analytics practices and tools
- AI Governance Frameworks, laws and regulations, including intersections with data privacy laws
- Understanding of emerging AI technologies and practices
- Professional qualifications such as DAMA, CDMP or extensive relevant work experience are advantageous
- Previous financial services, audit, or risk experience is beneficial
