Autism Assessor (ADOS and/or ADIR trained) - CYP
Location
This is a fully remote role. In-person roles are also available at our clinic in Exeter.
Hours
Full-time employment is preferred, though part-time options are available.
Salary
£45,000 - £80,000 per year, with flexibility based on experience.
About the Role
As an Autism Assessor for Children and Young People, you will be part of a mission-driven organization transforming access to autism assessments in England. You will conduct high-quality autism assessments, including remote parental interviews and observations, peer MDT diagnostic decision-making, and outcome calls with parents and families. Our innovative approach includes a new gold-standard autism assessment pathway and a tech-enabled Patient Record technology system, ensuring timely assessments and clear outcomes. You will work within a multidisciplinary assessment team, focusing on improving the experience of delivering assessments.
Experience
At least 6 months experience in children and young people's autism diagnostic assessments with specific knowledge of co-occurring conditions and differentials. Demonstrated ability to present findings in a client-centered clinical report.

Qualifications
Registration as one of the following: Occupational therapist (HCPC), Speech and language therapist (HCPC), Nurse (including mental health or learning disability nurse), Psychologist (including counselling, educational, and clinical psychologist), Medical doctor (GMC), Social Worker (Social Work England), or Assistant psychologist (BPS registered). Enhanced DBS with barred list check is required.
