The post holder must be flexible, adaptable to change, prepared to embrace workforce developments and contribute to efficient service delivery through the highest standards of safe, kind and compassionate care. We actively support extended training in the department and currently have radiographers/sonographers completing: Post-graduate Diploma and Master qualifications. Along with advanced practice MSK, MSK interventional and Thyroid FNA training. Furthermore, we actively support paediatric and musculoskeletal training for those who are interested. We offer flexible working patterns to include long days and weekend working. Part-time hours will also be considered subject to the needs of the service. We also offer 20% HCA. You will be required to have a Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent qualification (e.g. DMU/ Pg Dip/ MSc); HCPC registration or registration with the Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT); and recent NHS experience. At least 1 year of graduate ultrasound experience is desirable for this role, however new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
