About the Role
The Analyst in the Business Change & Governance Team supports the delivery of change initiatives, governance processes and front office technology enhancements across Mizuho EMEA's Corporate and Institutional Banking division (CIB Banking). The Team is part of the Banking Chief Operating Office (COO), which supports front office activities of CIB Banking, covering Banking clients (corporate finance, project finance, strategic advisory solutions, leveraged finance) and Capital Market clients (DCM, DCM syndication, securitised products, ECM). This role works closely with senior team members to execute strategic priorities, improve operational processes and ensure effective governance across the front office, partnering with stakeholders across COO, front office, IT, Compliance, Risk and other corporate functions.

The role provides coordinated support across change, governance and technology activities, contributing to project delivery, process improvement and ongoing development of tools such as Salesforce to enhance client engagement and data quality. It offers broad exposure to front office activities and cross-functional interaction, supporting effective execution of team priorities in a complex, multi-jurisdictional operating model.

Key responsibilities include supporting the delivery of change initiatives impacting CIB Banking, assisting in project management activities, requirements gathering, testing and implementation of front office technology changes, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. The role also supports the ongoing development and adoption of Salesforce and other front office tools, delivers training sessions, maintains data quality, prepares reports, and acts as a point of contact for system queries.

In governance, the Analyst supports control-related activities across CIB Banking, assists with governance forum preparation, supports KYC/CLM processes and onboarding prioritisation, and helps monitor and track issues, risks and remediation actions.

Mizuho offers fantastic progression opportunities, clear paths to promotion, a non-contributory pension, 27 days' annual leave, hybrid working arrangements, virtual GP and wellbeing benefits including Mental Health Allies and First Aiders. The company embraces flexible working arrangements such as part-time, job-sharing and hybrid working to support a purpose-led, inclusive culture.
