About the Role
Programme start date: September 2027. Our award-winning graduate programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in global financial markets. London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is at the forefront of trading services – a fundamental part of the financial and transactional services that support and enhance the development of businesses and economies worldwide. Successful graduates will join LSEG’s Markets division on a rotational programme and be part of a dynamic team that powers global financial markets and helps organisations navigate risk with confidence.

This graduate programme combines our Capital Markets and Post Trade businesses to offer a comprehensive suite of solutions—from raising and trading capital across asset classes and geographies, to clearing and optimising portfolios, to managing regulatory, reputational and financial risk. Whether enabling companies to list and grow on the London Stock Exchange, supporting seamless post-trade operations, or delivering trusted data and tools like World-Check and identity verification services, you’ll be at the heart of the financial ecosystem.

You’ll gain exposure to cutting-edge platforms such as FXall and Tradeweb, work with clients globally, and help shape the future of financial markets. This is a great opportunity for students studying Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics subjects, or Finance and Economics with a strong inclination towards FinTech/Technology to apply their skills in a business-related role.

During recruitment, we will assess your skills and interests to align you with your first rotation. Graduates can expect exposure across Financial Risk teams—monitoring and analysing risks and interpreting data for risk projects or reporting; supporting existing products by researching, tracking, and testing content and user interfaces of online products; or conducting research analysis into global markets focusing on debt listings, valuations, shareholder and geographic analysis.

Highlights of the Graduate Programme include:
- A 12-month development journey to build foundational skills key to your future success
- Building knowledge of LSEG, Financial Markets and the business during a global induction
- Divisional-led inductions with team overviews and introductions
- Participation in group projects aligned to LSEG goals
- Mid-programme offsite skills event ‘Ignite’ to explore key knowledge areas and skills
- Opportunities to earn industry-recognised qualifications, including 5 study days during the programme
- Connection with a global early careers community and involvement in CSR initiatives and volunteering

Graduates join on a permanent basis and will be aligned to LSEG Markets from day one, providing a secure framework for development.

Application close: 20th October. Early application is recommended as candidates are considered on a rolling basis and the process may close earlier due to volume. All assessment centres are held virtually.
