Hours
Two positions available with flexible shifts to cover annual leave and sickness.
Recruitment 1: Average 13 hours per week on a 2-week rolling rota.
Week one: Sunday 07:30-21:30
Week two: Thursday 15:30-21:30, Friday 15:30-21:30
Recruitment 2: Average 19.5 hours per week on a 2-week rolling rota.
Week one: Monday 15:30-21:30, Wednesday 14:30-21:30, Friday 14:30-21:30
Week two: Wednesday 14:30-21:30, Saturday 15:30-21:30, Sunday 15:30-21:30

Salary
£17.49 - £18.24 per hour after training completion.

About the Role
At Your Life Your Way, we empower people to live independently through compassionate, high-quality support tailored to individual needs. As a Care Support Assistant, you will provide dedicated, meaningful support to a client with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, spending your entire shift with one person without travelling between sites. You will receive full training to build confidence and deliver quality care.

Your responsibilities include supporting community access, university attendance, and meeting complex care needs such as moving and handling, pressure sore prevention, personal care, eating and drinking assistance, secretion management, ventilation support, saturation monitoring, and medication administration. You must be willing to work in an environment with a small dog.

Experience
Previous experience is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.

About you

Basic IT and record-keeping skills.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous.
Willingness to work in an environment with a small dog.
Good standard of spoken and written English.
Right to work in the UK with valid documentation for at least 12 months.
