About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Children Social Worker to join a Child in Need Team within a family safeguarding children’s service. This passionate team is committed to protecting children and young people, managing cases transferred from DAAT at the initial child protection conference or child in need meeting. The team offers a supportive in-house structure with regular supervision to ensure ongoing professional development and effective case management.

Experience
A minimum of 3 years permanent experience in Local Authority based Social Work is essential. Experience working in Front Door, Children in Need, or Child Protection teams is required.

About you
You will hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, which is essential for this role. You should be committed to safeguarding children and young people and able to work effectively within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications
A recognised social work qualification is required (Degree/DipSW/CQSW).
