About the Role
We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children's Safeguarding team. This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contact. The team involves working with the families of children who are subject to Children in Need and Child Protection plans. Responsibilities include undertaking duty calls, engaging in crisis intervention, and building support networks to ensure the safety and care of children and young people. The team also handles court-related matters and emergency orders.

Experience
A minimum of 3 years' experience working with children, young people, and their families is required.

About you
You are a degree qualified Social Worker (Degree/DIPSW/CQSW) with the ability to work well under pressure and possess clear communication skills. You must remain calm under pressure and have a sense of humour when challenges arise.

Qualifications
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification is required.
