About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a specialist Children's Safeguarding Team. This role involves working closely with families of children subject to Children in Need and Child Protection Plans. Key responsibilities include undertaking duty calls, crisis intervention, and building support networks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. The team also handles court-related matters and emergency orders, providing a dynamic and supportive working environment.

Experience
Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working with children, young people, and their families in a permanent contact setting.

About you
Degree qualified Social Worker (Degree/DIPSW/CQSW) with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain clear communication. You must be calm in challenging situations and able to maintain a sense of humour when things do not go as planned.

Qualifications
Degree/DIPSW/CQSW qualification in Social Work is required.
