About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join a Children in Need Team focused on safeguarding children who may be unable to safely live at home. The team works to promote the welfare of children in need, ensuring they maintain a reasonable standard of health and development. Key responsibilities include strengthening protective practices to reduce risk and placing the child at the centre of all assessments, plans, and reviews. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives within a supportive and collaborative environment. The position benefits from hybrid working arrangements and is easily accessible via public transport. The team has received "Outstanding" and "Good" Ofsted inspection results.

Experience
A minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a permanent social work role is essential. Experience working with children, young people, and their families is required, including familiarity with foster carers, special guardians, prospective adopters, and others caring for children who are not their own.

Qualifications
