About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join the Children With Disabilities Team. This team provides vital support to children and young people with disabilities and their families, promoting wellbeing, safety, and development. Working within a multi-agency framework, you will collaborate closely with health professionals, education providers, and therapists to deliver coordinated, child-centred support. Your role will involve carrying out assessments under the Children Act 1989 and the Care Act 2014 (for transition planning), ensuring each child's individual needs, strengths, and aspirations are fully understood and addressed.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience in social work is essential.
About you
You will have a strong commitment to supporting children with disabilities and their families, with excellent communication and multi-agency working skills. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is not essential but would be advantageous.
Qualifications
A recognised social work qualification such as Degree, DipSW, or CQSW is required to be considered for this role.
