About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to contribute to exciting UK and international engineering projects. This role involves working within a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts, supporting the delivery of airfield engineering projects both domestically and overseas. You will have opportunities for international travel, professional development, and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include supporting the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications; identifying and managing design risks and issues; ensuring deliverables meet cost, quality, and time targets; championing health and safety practices including safety in design and compliance with CDM regulations; supporting project progress monitoring and controls; and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Experience
- A university degree relevant to civil engineering, construction, design, or a related discipline
- Experience delivering civil engineering projects (aviation experience is not required and can be substituted with similar projects such as highways, urban realm, maritime ports)
- Preferable knowledge of international airfield design standards such as ICAO, CAA, EASA, and FAA
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant engineering design software

- Ability to work confidently under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively, with examples of managing these skills successfully
