About the Role
At WSP, you will have the opportunity to work on landmark projects and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. As a Road Engineer within our Roads team, you will be based in one of our London & South East offices and play a key role in delivering high-quality technical solutions and efficient service. Your responsibilities will include preparing designs and specifications in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB), developing designs using Civil3D and AutoCAD, and delivering work packages with the potential to manage smaller schemes. You will support Senior Engineers in planning, programming, and cost estimation, assist in the development of Graduate Engineers and Apprentices, produce technical reports, and undertake site visits to inform your designs. You will be actively involved in multiple multi-disciplinary projects and client accounts, contributing to innovative and effective engineering solutions.

Experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Highways design experience following DMRB, TSRGD, Traffic Signs Manual, and Local Transport Notes
- Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD
- Experience or familiarity with Bentley design software such as OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation is advantageous
- Knowledge of BIM environments including ProjectWise, Autodesk Forma (formerly ACC), Common Data Environments, CAD QA/QC processes, and collaborative digital delivery is beneficial
