About the Role
The Council is focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for its communities. To achieve this, we need front line staff who thrive in a networked organisation and can provide strong service delivery. The Estates Cleaning Team provides cleaning services on housing estates across the borough, ensuring our communal areas are clean and safe. The role reports directly to the Estate Cleaning Supervisor and will be part of a dedicated cleaning team. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming communal floors and stairs; cleaning and sanitising lift interiors, door handles, and light switches; dusting and wiping down internal surfaces; removing litter and debris; maintaining cleanliness of bin stores; reporting maintenance issues; restocking hygiene supplies; and ensuring proper use and storage of cleaning materials.

Experience
No prior experience required; however, a background in cleaning or facilities management would be advantageous.
