These will primarily be to support the dialysis access service, but could involve the general kidney transplantation surgical service. Person Specification Qualifications Essential Full GMC Registration Desirable Relevant Postgraduate Qualifications (MRCS or equivalent etc) Knowledge and Skills Essential A commitment to and evidence of multidisciplinary practice A team based approach to care and service management Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with colleagues; clinical and non-clinical patients and their carers/relatives Research Desirable An ability to initiative pursue and complete clinical or medical research Teaching Essential An ability to teach undergraduate students or other junior doctors Desirable Certificate of medical education Good Medical Practice Essential Evidence of understanding of and adherence to the principles of Good Medical and Surgical Practice set out by the GMC Clinical Experience Essential Significant experience of General Surgery Desirable Experience of Vascular, Access, Transplant and/or Laparoscopic Surgery
