To be responsible, along with the Trust Safer Staffing Lead, for the oversight, application and improvement of Safer Staffing across all clinical services within South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. To monitor and support Trust compliance with the National Quality Board: Developing Workforce Safeguards (2018) and other national workforce plans and agendas. To provide specialist Safer Staffing training, advice and leadership to support staff in the delivery of Safer Staffing in accordance with Trust Safer Staffing policies. Promote strong leadership and strengthen the Safer Staffing contribution to the quality and safety agenda in the Trust. The post holder will be required to operate flexibly within the Safer Staffing team structure to ensure that a comprehensive service is provided, and when necessary to act up and deputise for the Safer Staffing Lead.
