To contribute to the Trust medicines optimisation agenda to ensure delivery of a safe, clinically and cost effective pharmacy service to the PAC To review local policies and guidelines on good prescribing practice To ensure that service provision is flexible and responsive to patients needs To be an educational supervisor to pre-registration pharmacists To mentor and support junior members of staff To contribute to the education and training programme for all pharmacy and clinical staff To work closely with the wider MDT in the Trust and provide medicines expertise To meet the department and Trusts audit agenda and quality improvement objectives Critical evaluation of medicines expenditure and financial reporting
