In this role you will be at the forefront of delivering new models of care through transformation that meets the needs of our community, and will be able to contribute to the creation of what that looks like as well as positively impacting and enhancing the experiences of our patients in Brent. You will provide day-to-day clinical care in a supported environment and within a dynamic team. Providing day-to-day professional leadership, you will ensure the needs of patients are placed at the centre of care delivery while providing assurance that standards of clinical care within a designated area is of the highest standard attainable. You will need to demonstrate empathy and compassionate leadership skills alongside excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to teach and inspire colleagues through active demonstration of clinical practice and leadership. At the same time be willing to learn and develop within this Band 6 role. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the drive to deliver the above within a well-established Clinical Services Unit that has good relationships with the local CCG, PCNs, Local authority and Local acute Trust. To monitor supervise and delegate podiatry services delivered by support staff including junior clinicians, Podiatry Assistants and to mentor students during placements. To undertake CLCH clinical rotations within the CLCH podiatry service and as deemed appropriate to the individual’s development and the service need. To liaise with and refer to the direction of Highly Specialist Clinicians when necessary and as appropriate. To be flexible to cope with a busy varied and demanding workload where it is essential to move between sessional clinics on foot / by transport. To manage a domiciliary caseload as required.
