The post holder will be jointly based within the Womens Health Research team and Perinatal Imaging & Health Department, with strong lings toKings College London, embedded within and based at St Thomas Hospital. This is an established research unit with a long history of undertakingclinical research studies across Women's Health. The team is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists with a commitmentto translational research. The research midwife will facilitate and aid in the recruitment of patients to ensure high quality clinical studies and trials which will require themidwife to work flexibly across the disciplines to ensure the successful working of the clinical research projects they are assigned to. They will alsoact as a patient advocate providing support and assistance as required and assist in the co-ordination and management of a portfolio of clinicalresearch studies.
